Petroglyph National Monument in Albuquerque, NM

Heading to Petroglyph National Monument was great. I love seeing Petroglyphs and this place had a good amount of them. So the Petroglyph National Monument is one of the largest petroglyph sites in North America. The designs were carved into boulders by American Indians and Spanish settlers 400 – 700 years ago. There are supposed to be more than 24,000 petroglyphs along the volcanic escarpment.

There is a trail at the National Monument that you can hike and it is pretty easy. The day I was there, the weather was perfect. I’m always down to do a hike. While we were hiking we did get to see a different kind of lizard then I normal see. But I don’t know the kind of lizard it is. If you do please comment below.
