Ubehebe Crater

So after coming from The Racetrack in Death Valley very late at night.  Check out that post here.  I got here around midnight the night before.  I wasn’t really sure where I should stay and I knew that I wanted to get a couple of pictures of the sunrise which I normally don’t get.  So I parked in the parking lot and slept in the back of the car.  Yes, I do whatever needs to be done to be able to see the best stuff.  If you have an awesome story please tell me about it in the comments.  I really do love to hear about them.

So after getting up, I decided to walk around the whole crater.  I’m not sure how long the walk was but it took me about an hour.  Now I also was doing 360 pictures the whole way which you can see later on in the post or on Google Maps.  It was a great walk in the morning.  I totally recommend it to everyone.  If you look close in the distance you will be able to see the parking lot and see my car (yes the small black dot) and where I slept the night before.

So after hiking up the hill just a small distance, I see a sign for Little Hebe.  Which now that I have seen I’m so glad that I made the decision to take a walk around the crater.  Seeing Little Hebe was really awesome for me. I know that it is smaller but it was cool to see.

Once you get to the top if you look out to the left you will see just an amazing view.  I was here for a good amount of time because I was waiting for the sun to come up and to hit Little Hebe.  But I loved the view so much it didn’t bother me at all.

This is just another view of the Little Hebe.  I just loved looking at it and walking around.

Now you will be able to see it in 360, so move the image around and check it out.

After you get done looking around next to Little Hebe you can either go back to the parking lot or you can go on and walk around the rest of the crater.  I decided to walk around it all.
